The best yogurt place. All I have to say is Coconut yogurt! My favorite flavor. It is also one of the cheaper ones. The tart here is also better than other places I have been. But I am going to tell all you yogurt people who like your frozen yogurt to taste like yogurt this may not be the place for you. Their yogurt is more like icecream. But that is how I like it. They frequently change their flavors to go along with whatever theme they have chosen. It's fun to come and try the new flavors but sometimes it is sad when you find one you love and it will only be there for a short period. There are certain flavors that never change and thank goodness coconut is one of them.

I LOVE this place. Of-course, I'm boring and prefer plain (tart) yogurt but I love the little sample cups here. I take friends often & they love the flavors. I highly recommend the cheesecake bites!

Wonderful!! Love The toppings, soo many options I definitely recommend this place and I love the atmosphere!!

This is the cleanest yogurtland we've been to. It has all the flavors we like and sample cups were ready for us when we walked in. Really love yogurtland! I used to live here and don't remember there being any yogurtlands, so this was a pleasant surprise :D

  • Shanda J.

I love this place!!!!!! I have to say plain tart is by far my favorite. The amount of topping choices are beyond. The quality of the yogurt is better than any other yogurt place I've been to. my only problem is I wish there was one closer to my house because I live in Utah County. but when I'm in town I always make sure that we stop and get a yogurt. The service is extremely friendly. The location is always clean and tidy. I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to go. Yuuuuum

We went to Yogurtland after the movies at Sugarhouse. Very clean place with good flavors. They charge you by weight so you can add whatever you want. Tip: Ask for sample cups when you come in.

The toasted coconut, taro and vanilla bean are my faves! I love that they have lychee as a topping as well as mochi. This is by far my favorite yogurt place

    (5)
  • Todd V.

Yogurt came out of the machines incredibly slow the chocolate came out so I thought it wad out, turns out it wasnt. The mochi is my favorite part of yogurt shops but theirs was plain and not as enjoyable as others. Also they don't have hot fudge but they do have a whipped cream maker that doesn't really make a lot of sense.

Who doesn't love FroYo? Yum! That being said, there's nothing special or unique about this place vs all the others. You walk in, pick up a cup, pick your yogurt, pick your toppings and then pay by weight. It's not overpriced, not underpriced. It's good, not great. I wouldn't make a special trip to get FroYo here but I'd pop in if I was in the neighborhood.

  • Monica V.

Yogurtland is my favorite frozen yogurt chain. Until there's another place that serves the deliciously exotic flavors of coconut and taro, I will continue to keep my business here. The space is brightly lit and modern, and they even offer free WiFi. Parking at this location is a little scarce at times, but it's totally worth a little extra walk. They now have cookies that you can use as dividers, and offer hot chocolate if you want to overindulge in sweets.

First off, this is by far the cleanest frozen yogurt shop I've ever been in. I am talking super sanitary and crazy, sparkling clean. I could've probably eaten off the floor. Most froyo places are dirty, messy and sticky but not this one. Aside from the friendly employees and squeaky clean shop, the yogurt is pretty darn tasty. They had no one but TWO no sugar added flavors on my visit which is super exciting for me since I have to watch my sugar and carb intake. They had strawberry cheesecake and pecan praline NSA flavors. Both were tasty and has a nice light and creamy texture. Lots of gluten free options but no low carb options (the no sugar added comes close). The toppings bar is small and limited when compared to my other fave froyo place, Menchie's, but Yogurtland takes the cake when it comes to fresh fruit toppings. YUMMY fruit that's not drowning in some sort of sugary syrup. I'm talking big, ripe fresh raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, melon chunks and more. They are lacking on the nuts (I only saw peanuts and sliced almonds) and the don't have any sugar free syrups, but that's just a minor ding in their score. If you can eat corn syrup laden toppings (cookie dough, chocolate chips, crushed cookies), you'll be in heaven. It's worth a stop into this clean, friendly and tasty yogurt shop.

Love yogurtland since I was in Phoenix. Great friendly service, price is just right. Also love that they have plenty of flavors to choose from and and the toppings are always fresh :)

It's frozen yogurt. I didn't particularly care for the flavors at the time I went but I think they change them every so often. They did have a lot of gluten free options which is a bonus for our family's needs.

I've had yogurt land dozens of times. So this location is no different. It has your typical set up and the yogurt and toppings are delicious however on this visit I have to give it 2 stars. Upon arriving I did my normal thing, got my cup and went in for my usual strawberry yogurt. I noticed that there seemed to be a cleaning crew there (an hour before closing) which seemed to consist of the owner. At least I'm hoping it was the franchise owner with the way she berated the two young girls working tonight. I could hear her huff and puff as she cleaned the yogurt machines. Telling one girl that she'd normally fire someone for letting them get this bad. Now normally this sort of thing wouldn't bother me as much as it did but this was all in front of everyone in the store and she didn't let up on the workers for my entire visit. She kept cleaning and complaining in this small yogurt shop which seemed to grow smaller by the minute. She made our visit terribly uncomfortable. I mean on the first hot day in Utah in months of course your two young employees are going to be overwhelmed by the foot traffic and things may just get a little messy. However this sort of training should be handled during closing or in back. At one point she was yelling so loudly, a worker finally turned on the music and began to blast some pop song essentially to drown her and all of the costumers thoughts out with it. All in all I will not be returning knowing how poorly an establishment treats their employees!

Yogurtland is not unlike the other serve yourself frozen yogurt joints that dot our map. I was looking forward to trying their Taro flavored frozen yogurt but was disappointed when they weren't serving it during our visit. I'd return to Yogurtland but not necessarily drive further if a competitor is closer by.

YUM! Lots of flavors and a great clean location!

  • Grace S.

Love the taro and coconut flavors. Note that the nuts (for toppings) are located above the other toppings. I also like their high chairs (for babies) because they are a newer version and quite clean.

The owner contacted us and apologized for her employee and said she was never told to tell parents to make their kids be quiet.

This was EXACTLY what I was looking for in SLC...a self serve yogurt bar, with interesting flavors and combinations!! Tons of toppings and the fresh fruit was actually that...fresh!!! A nice added touch was the strawberry infused water in the seating area that looked complimentary and refreshing. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly enough. I was going to take a picture of my treat, but I ate it before I got a chance...

Fresh fruit and ice cream with so many choices. The place is clean as a whistle. It is nice to see a store that understands how important a smile is and clean hands are. Everything shines with that Me Clean feeling. Please keep it up.

Yogurtland is a Pinkberry like yogurt shop that lets you make your own creation. They usually have around 10 different flavors that you serve yourself in a small to large cup. Additionally, they have a huge amount of toppings from fruit to candy bars to syrups that you can add to your froyo. The price is right too. At 36 cents an ounce, you can not go wrong. I can walk out of there with 2 cups within the $5 range. It is located in a redeveloped area of Sugarhouse with street and parking lot parking. I am not a fan of ice cream, but I love this type of frozen yogurt (tart). This is my go to dessert in Salt Lake City and it should be yours. The bathrooms are clean and service is great. Finally, they give you a number of samples that you choose before you go in for the kill. If you want a low key dessert that is cheap, quick, and somewhat healthy, this is the place for you. Stop reading this and head over there for some yummy frozen yogurt.

  • Elle J.

It's Froyo, but not overly unique or yummy and the person behind the counter didn't even speak to us... I would go back but only if I was right there!

  • Olga K.

I love this yogurt shop! It always has a great flavor selection and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. Staff is friendly and fast; parking is rarely an issue. This is my favorite in SLC because I haven't seen the Taro flavor anywhere else!

  • Jimmy M.

The is one of the nicest yogurt shops I have ever patronized. The word "nice" includes the layout, friendliness of the staff and the selection of flavors available. They even let you taste everything with sample cups, and you don't have to continually ask for more tastes since it's in your control (just don't ben one of those kids who tastes everything and buys nothing ... come on ... be classy). This is just another great establishment to have in the newly renovated Sugarhouse area!

  • Kristal M.

I didn't fully appreciate Yogurtland's awesomeness until I went to another frozen yogurt shop. Yogurtland is so clean, they have many different options of fro yo and they change it up constantly, and they have delicious toppings which they change up as well. The other place I went was more expensive, dirty, and had the toppings pre portioned. Um, I'm paying by the ounce, I don't need toppings pre portioned for me. I'll never go anywhere else for my fro yo needs :)

  • Marcus G.

I just like this place, many different flavors and toppings to choose from. Their fruits are so fresh and the size are small enough so you could put a lot. The price is very reasonable:)

  • Cori L.

This store was spotless - super clean and with super nice staff. Honestly, kids love this place (you get to have samples before you pick your yogurt) and then you get to pick out your toppings. The price is kinda high but you get what you pay for in this situation.

Yay! Yogurtland made it's way to SLC! Ok, hopefully you read this BEFORE you go. Make sure you go to customervaluepackage.com… and buy the package deal for the SLC Yogurtland location. The deal is $12.50 and comes with all kinds of savings. The best part of it is the $5 dollar per visit punch card on it. This is treated like cash and you can go in, buy up to $5 of yogurt per visit and not pay a dime (on average my yogurt w/o toppings is about $4). Sweet deal! (pun intended). Now for the yogurt... this place has AMAZING flavors of yogurt and you can try as many as you like! Most, if not all, are gluten and dairy free and Yogurtland prides itself on it's fresh ingredients and toppings. The yogurt is not creamy and melty like other yogurt shops which is what i love about this place. It has a crisp refreshing hard to describe texture that really sets itself apart from the other guys. I kind of do the soda suicide method of five different flavors in one cup (chocolate in the middle bc chocolate goes with pretty much everything). Their Red Cake Batter is a fan favorite but some other highlights include : Madagascar Vanilla Bean, Root Beer Float (summer flavor), Orangesicle (summer flavor), POG sorbet, Chocolate Milkshake and the list goes on. The space is super clean with ample seating and the service was friendly. I'm excited for Yogurtland to join the hustle and bustle of furniture row in Sugar house! It will come in handy on those hot summer days for sure!

  • Joy B.

I rate this place a 4, but decided to give it an extra star for being and staying clean. Yogurtland is the best out there! I've tried almost every froyog place in Utah and I must say this is the best Utah has to offer. I love that they're not stingy with the sample cups, lots of yogurt flavor choices to choose from and topping station has everything you would want. If you're a diabetic, gluten free or lactose intolerant they have options for you as well.

    (5)
  • Todd H.

Hands down best yogurt in town. Better than TCBY and Menchies. Flavors taste incredible and fresh. They don't taste artificial like TCBY. Tons of unique flavors. Yogurtland costs less than the competition while delivering a superior flavors and experience. Tip: get their rewards program!!!! You actually get free yogurt all the time. *platinum member

Maybe you were like me in high school - a dishwasher - working odd hours and long weekends. Maybe you're doing that now; if that's the case, you have my utmost respect, especially if you work at this Yogurtland. Days later, I debate whether my hard earned money ought to be spent there. Sunday, May 31, is the day I witnessed something I am glad I never experienced while working in a restaurant. I came in around 10 o'clock and I could tell that even an hour before closing, the workers and [what seemed to be] the franchise owners were wiping down tables, mopping, and cleaning the yogurt stations. Oddly, some of the typical yogurt flavors were gone, but this was also the first hot day of Spring, topping over the 80s in SLC. I'm sure it was a busy day. Nevertheless, I got some flavors and kept walking the pathway to get some treats for my yogurt. Incidentally, I walked by the aformentioned owner who was scowling at one of the girls who works there, probably underaged (15-17). "I could fire you for this..." and "this is unacceptable", referring to a Yogurtland that was battered by earlier patrons seeking relief from the hot weather. "It got really busy and we didn't get to clean the way we would have wanted to," I overheard one of the young girls say. Simply, this Yogurtland was understaffed for a very hot, very busy day, so by the time I got there, not only were some flavors missing, these poor girls looked burnt out. It didn't help the franchise owner was screaming at them with unusually low-volume music, in what's usually a cheery, louder Yogurtland. The girl who rang me up - borderline tears - composed herself. I felt bad. Was I supporting the exploited or the exploiter? Once they noticed I was going to sit down to try to enjoy my yogurt, they turned up the music to drown out the owner's comments to the young ladies. It was uncomfortable, it was ridiculous, and so not worth supporting this particular location. I know Yogurtland since their early Los Angeles days, so it surprises me these kind of practices would ensue during business hours, in front of loyal customers. Give your workers some goddamn respect and maybe I'll return.

My very favorite place to get frozen yogurt! Some places charge you by what toppings you put on, Yogurtland charges you by the weight, which I prefer. Tons of good flavors, tons of toppings, and all for a better price than others I've been to. If I had one complaint/suggestion, it would be that they put noise dampeners/ceiling clouds inside, because it's so loud and everything echos.

  • Mike N.

I went back here again (it's the only option within walking distance for me), and they actually had all of their flavors this time. Which were all pretty decent. Still not amazing, but a much better experience. Upgraded to 3 stars.

Delicious! I love how you can sample yogurts before choosing. I had four flavors with heath and caramel and it came out to $4, not bad. My boys loved it too, big and small. Perfect location. We went after having dinner at the annex, which still left us hungry but thats a different story. This place was clean and service was nice. Cant wait to go back and try more flavors.
